Meet the Team
Kathleen S. Khan, MD, FACOG
Dr. Kathleen Khan received her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Pennsylvania. She attended medical school at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Emory University, serving as chief administrative resident in her final year. She is board-certified and a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Khan has received several clinical and teaching awards. She joined Piedmont Women’s Healthcare in 2014 and now serves as managing partner of the practice. She holds leadership roles within Atlanta Women's Healthcare Specialists and Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. She provides a variety of obstetric and gynecologic care, with special interests in contraceptive management, adolescent gynecology, high-risk obstetrics, and gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Khan and her husband are parents of three amazing children and several fur-children. She calls Atlanta home after spending her childhood relocating frequently across the US and internationally. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, and learning new (nonmedical!) hobbies. Her current endeavor is learning to play piano!
